French Aliya, You Say?

Film mirroring life. How unusual.

A new film about French immigrants to Israel and their aliyah experience is in the works.

International film star Gerard Depardieu is in Israel with co-star Fanny Ardant shooting Hello-Goodbye – an Israel-France co-production about French nationals coming to live in Israel.

So far reports from the set are good – Depardieu is living up to his reputation as funny man and keeping the crew laughing.
