Well known celebrity Michal Amdurski was sentenced to six months probation, fined NIS2000 ($500) and her driver’s license was revoked for two years for drunken and reckless driving.

After performing at a popular Tel Aviv nightclub months ago, Amdurski took off in her car in the wee hours. She was pulled over and alcohol tested for erratic behavior and offbeat driving.

“I only had a vodka to get over the jitters,” she told the judge in court yesterday. “It helps me.”

“Why was I stumbling when I crossed the street to my car? Because I was wearing heels. I have a hard time walking in heels.”

“Well of course it took me five times to blow into the breathalyzer. I was exhausted from my performance.”

“What? They say I danced in the street? That’s ridiculous.”

“And you can tell that police officer who claims I was caressing him and calling him ‘sweetie’ that it’s cheap of him to make me look bad. I wouldn’t touch someone I don’t know.”

Honey, you got off easy.
