IDF Issue? Get it on ebay

You wouldn’t think an army would be hip to using the Internet for non-intelligence or real-time commercial trade matters but Israel’s army is “working it” – on ebay, no less.
The Hebrew press sez Israel’s army is selling used stuff on ebay - non-tactical/weaponry stuff, that is.
What’s up on the bidding block? Hundreds of items like furniture, office equipment, industrial kitchen items and on and on and on.

Yossi Cohen, Commanding Officer overseeing military equipment and gear says it’s the army’s way of recycling.
Some items/starting bid prices:
- Old fashioned typewriter: NIS1543 ($375)
- Gardening spade: NIS20 ($5)
- Office Chair: NIS200 ($50)
Ladies & gentlemen, start the bidding.
