Ever wonder why as a parent or caretaker you have to pay entrance fees to take the wee ones to any range of activities when your main purpose while there is to sit on the sidelines and track Junior?

The writers at Hebrew daily Maariv wondered about it and polled various “kid hot spots” around Israel to find out what the adults are paying to take the kids to attractions. A sampling:

Festigal Age 2 and under: 40 shekels ($10) Over 2: 169 shekels ($42) Adult: 169 shekels
Luna Park & Superland: 2 and up: 88-95 shekels ($24) Adults: same
Keeptzobah 3 and unders: 33 shekels ($8); 3 and older: NIS 54 ($13.50) Adults: NIS 33
Biblical Zoo: 3 and up: 33 shekels ($8) Adults: 41 shekels ($10)
