Hellooooooo India

Israel’s post-army travelers are in the habit of heading East to India, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand.

Now Israel’s culture is also traveling in that direction.

Popular soap opera Ha’Alufa, starring hunky Yehuda Levy, has been sold to India – quite the score for the show backers Dori Media Group. It’s also been sold to Russia. Local press isn’t disclosing exact figures but they’re somewhere in the upper millions.

Nu, so who’s going to dub it over to Hindi?
