A month ago Nefesh B’Nefesh Organization ran a contest for videomakers: Put together a minute-long clip promoting Israel and if you win you’ll be rich and famous for the rest of your life…mwahahahahaha….

Not really. But they did promise to fatten the old bank account a bit with cash prizes.

Rebecca, a new immigrant who came to Israel with NBN, blogged & linked to the #2 “Israel in a Minute” winner – she wrote that #1 is a bit predictable and kitsch.

We liked #2 so we’re running it here too.

    4. I think Hebrew is a big drawback for many English speaking people who would make aliyah.

    On the other hand, Tel Aviv is a much nicer city than New York City and the lifestyle is both richer and warmer.

    I prefer Tel Aviv to NYC.
