Late to Court? Cancelled!

In Tel Aviv’s Petah Tikva suburb, dozens of parking tickets accrued by area residents were canceled at one fell swoop by a court judge this week.
The reason: The attorney representing the city’s parking division showed up 40 minutes late to court (!)
Some 30 residents were summoned to an en masse court session – all were protesting ticket fines. They waited. And waited. And waited for the city lawyer to show up for the hearing.
He did but..oops. Too late.
No show? No pay.
That’s my kind of judge.
