3 Decades & Counting

Thirty years ago Israel and Egypt were trying out peacemaking. Dry Bones captured the excitement felt by Israeli journalists traveling south to cover events and bringing back actual Egyptian pounds as proof of the “I’ve been there!” experience in this cartoon. (go to the site to read about it)

Now there’s peace – a cold one but peace nonetheless – and Israelis are largely afraid to go down south because of the threat of targeted attacks. Hmmm.
