It’s almost upon us, folks…FOUR MORE SHOPPING DAYS! …

Although in these parts you sure can’t tell.

There’s the odd twinkling light and I suspect that in places like Bethlehem there’s some tried and true decor and tinsel and maybe even a plastic Santa on someone’s rooftop. But for the most part, here where it all started it’s not the Christmas most people living outside these parts have come to know and expect.

The expected 60,000 pilgrims coming to celebrate Christmas here don’t know that, though.

60,000. A 50% increase in visitor numbers over last year, according to this report.

That’s a hefty jump.
