God, God, God (*sigh*)
So, what do YOU have to say about him/her/that entity?
Do you believe in God?
Do you believe in many Gods?
Do you prefer science based theory?
Do you think it’s worth fighting over?
Do you think we’re all just kidding ourselves and things are really run by that man behind the curtain we shouldn’t be paying attention to?

Who knows…But over at Pixane, there are some interesting god related quotes to ponder.
“Until I was 20 I was sure there was a being who could see everything I did and who didn’t like most of it. He seemed to care about minute aspects of my life, like on what day of the week I ate a piece of meat. And yet, he let earthquakes and mudslides take out whole communities, apparently ignoring the saints among them who ate their meat on the assigned days. Eventually, I realised that I didn’t believe there was such a being … I still don’t like the word agnostic. It’s too fancy. I’m simply not a believer.”
-Alan Alda
f there is a God, he has to be either all-powerful or all-merciful, can’t be both.”
-Paraphrased, my wife.
Well that’ll give us all something to think about as we head into the weekend.

Yes , definetely , there is many gods for many religions, but only One true living God – And He is the God of the Isrealite , the God of the bible that is more relevant today then in the days of Moses.
Israel was born in one day after exile of 2000 years . Is that not predicted by Isaiah ? God said that He will bring His people back from all corners of the earth , and is it not happening everyday at the airport ? The desert bloom ! and many more…
Most “bad” things which happen do so because God gives a radical freedom to God’s people; we are free people, not puppets on a string. But God does not cause “bad” things to happen. God loves us and grieves with us in our pain when “bad things” happen.
Therefore, we might best respond by saying that God does not Will “bad” things to happen in life. Rather, “bad” things happen in the freedom that comes with the gift of life.
If I’m all-powerful, and I see somebody suffering, then I use my power to help them. If I don’t then I am simply capricious, guilty of harm through inaction.
Hence, either all-powerful, or all-merciful. But that’s my wife. I just think you’re all nutters for listening to a voice from the sky; today I would call that schizophrenia.
