Parking Revisited
When you live in an urban center, parking is going to be an issue. Period.
“Ha! You think you’ve got it bad? I circled the block for nearly an hour yesterday looking for a spot! I gave up and parked on the sidewalk. I got a ticket for $150!”
“I never move my car at night. I’ll take taxis if I need to go somewhere. It beats circling for an hour at 2 in the morning.”
And on and on and on.
How people creatively choose to avoid parking fines and punitive measures is always of interest. Take this note below found on a Tel Aviv car owner’s windshield…

It reads:
Dear Parking Officer:
I live in Tel Aviv at 67 Frishman Street. My car, a silver Peugeot license plate #XXXXXX, is in the shop and I’m driving this replacement car in the interim. Please be mindful of my situation!
Harr dee harr harr.
Doesn’t the city issue temporary parking stickers for rental cars or loaners?
