The Neighbors Too

February 2, 2008 - 8:30 AM by

You think we have it bad over here what with our light snowfall that threw part of the country into a tizzy this past week? Which, by the way, would be expected because after all this IS the Middle East where snow SHOULDN’T be falling so snowfall removal plans aren’t exactly budgeted into municipal coffers.

China’s in trouble. A lot of trouble. Think good karmic thoughts to send in that direction because getting stranded in the freezing cold without electricity while food and water supplies dwindle is horrible.

Here, on the other hand, are our next-door neighbors. How-dee! Mind if I borrow your snow shovel? No? Okay. How about a cup of sugar?

A picture is, indeed, worth a whole bunch of words. Or at least one blog entry.
