It took about three minutes post-car-bomb mortem in the case of Imad Mugniyeh this week for finger pointing in the direction of Israel to get underway. And analysis. And speculation. And…well who knows, hmmm?

    2. Smug assumptions as to a skillful accomplishment by Israeli operatives may very well be delusionary. In view of this master terrorist’s long history of maintaining secrecy with respect to his whereabouts, is it not possible that his reported car bomb death is a sham? … My “suspicion” is that Mugneveh may have arranged the death of some other person for the purpose of deluding the West into believing that he is dead. That would, presumably end the hunt for him. One can reasonably suspect that his followers conducted his mock funeral for the dual purposes of hiding his continued presence, and at the same time using the occasion to incite further attacks on Israel. … JUST A THOUGHT.
