Wedding Blues

If you’re looking to fund a wedding, the way NOT to go about it is to plan a heist. Especially if you have the blueprints & weapons in your car and police officers are patrolling the area.

A young religious man from Tel Aviv’s Bnei Brak suburb was uber stressed over impending wedding costs. No doubt. His guest list was topping 800 (!!)

To fund the affair, he and a yeshiva-head rabbi’s son/friend (no less) carefully mapped out a plan for knocking off a local money exchange vendor. They worked out all the details: escape routes, hours of operation etc. and then went out and picked up some weapons, ammo and face masks.

Prepping for the heist the two loaded their car with the goods. And for some INSANE reason, then proceeded to fall asleep in the vehicle in a public stadium lot. A passing police officer noticed the guns and blueprints and masks.

The rest is history.

The young man married but in a much tailored ceremony that included handcuffs, leg shackles and 100 guests, many of whom were escort officers.

He is in jail pending charges.

Here’s a thought: maybe plan a guest-list according to realistic budget limitations?

Poor guy.
