Purim Generosity
Purim hits this weekend and leading up to it here in Israel it’s all about the costumes, parties, props and preps.

AND the annual tradition of mishloach manot or the mitzvah of ensuring everybody has equal goods when it comes to celebrating the holiday. The “good deed” usually entails parceling out baskets of goodies to friends or those in need.
This year, thousands of misloach manot gifts are being distributed to Sderot’s children via combined efforts of Hebrew newspaper Maariv and Yadid (“friend) Organization.
Wanna contribute? Drop off centers are located in most major cities – Ahad Ha’am #1 in Haifa, Yanai 6 in Jerusalem, Ha’Shlosha 3 in Tel Aviv, etc. – and a call center is operating for inquiries: 1-700-500-513.
Spread the love, people. It’s what we humans are supposed to do.
