Get out the Grog-gers

March 20, 2008 - 8:30 AM by

Purim’s upon us, peoples. Hence the dressed up populace taking to the streets of Israel these days decked out in a whole range of costume styles and face paint shades. We are entering holiday mode. Fasten your seatbelts & pass the hamantashen.

Here at Israelity we’re also stepping into a celebratory phase. Marking our calendars with the choicest & swankiest parties and happenings and pulling the “dress-up” box out of storage.

If we go MIA for a day or so, don’t fret. We’re boozing it up working hard at not being able to distinguish between Haman and Mordechai. It’s in the handbook. Check if you don’t believe us.

Happy Purim, everyone!

Take along bottled water if you’re going to street happenings or parades, make sure kids in costumes stay cool and hail a taxi if you’re drinking.

  2. Stef, you’re not still dressing as Farfur, are you?

  4. And for those of you celebrating in Israel, don’t forgot that temperatures will be soaring tomorrow due to the “sharav”, so be sure to dress the kids (and yourselves) accordingly!
