You Know the Drill

When the sirens sound this morning, no need for panic. It’s just a test.

Israel is midway through a countrywide, massive civil defense drill also marking the inauguration of a new Homefront Command broadcast studio.

Yes air raid sirens will go off at 10 a.m. Not it’s not for real. But the whole drill thing has generated some nervousness on other home fronts - Syria and Lebanon’s, say press reports.

Oh well. Makes us all nervous.
