Gay Themed Jesus

Here in these parts we know conflict. Yes indeedy we sure do. And we’re fairly in touch with Jesus’ history and all being that this was his home base.

So why in the heck didn’t someone in Austria pick up the phone to consult with us before going live with a gay-themed Jesus art exhibit held at the ROMAN CATHOLIC MUSEUM (of all places)?

Guys: Long distance rates are cheap nowadays. Heck, you coulda Skyped. And we’d have warned you: Homo + Erotic + Jesus = Vey.

Now look at the tsuris: Vienna’s Roman Catholic Cathedral Museum in a whole lotta mess, protests, calls for a museum shutdown, finger pointing at the local Archbishop…*sigh*. We hate to say we could’ve told you so but…

In the interim, we DO know how to lend credit where it’s due: Good move on pulling the Hrdlicka Apostle Orgy themed piece when things heated up. Fanning the flames = more tsuris.

It’ll subside. Just sit tight. Ask the Danish cartoonists. Hang on a sec…we’ll fish out their direct lines for you.

    2. Actually, we have no idea that Jesus even existed! He may have is the best that can be implied.
