Cliche

This collage is a collection of self portraits taken by Israeli girls, lifted from the Web. It’s an advanced draft of our friend Fridge’s latest untitled artwork that may be called:
- “I Was (Already?) Cliche at Age 14″.
- cliche93
- Xerox-uality
(he hasn’t decided yet)
Fridge will be exhibiting at Florentine’s Ehrlich Contemporary Art Gallery in May; if you go to Fridge’s site, you can click on each photo and get personal profiles on the girls.
He is toying with the idea of inviting them to the exhibit. (DEFINITELY!)
The work’s a pretty simple, powerful statement.
What do you think?

Those Israeli girls are so insane! I found myself chatting one up a couple months back, and when I took a look at her cellphone I was ASTOUNDED:
Her background picture was of her laying on a bed, belly down, with nothing on. All you could see was her butt, but I was just thinking “why exactly do you want to see yourself naked every time you look at your phone?”
She called it “streep-teeze”
