We thought it only fitting to drum up a few renditions of this tune. Because, after all, it’s pretty much why we’re here.

    2. It is a particular Israeli thing that Yom Hazikaron is the day before – after much pain and loss there is the celebration that those who gave their lives that Israeli may live. A gift to us all.

    And for those such as myself we remember people we knew as kids that never returned from June 1967 or July 1971 or Oct 1973 and those we were with in Lebanon over 25 years ago.

    Especially Adam and Gideon.
