The issue is the rise in interest rates and falling housing prices. This is affecting many people that bought houses or refinanced ignoring the reality that they could not afford it. Mortgage lenders collapsing is the result of them in turn ignoring the prudential requirements they declare. It is not about fraud despite the trend around the world today including the United States to blame businessmen, especially big corporate America, and pretend that the "people" are innocent little angels. As America moves towards its socialization and capitalism becomes a dirty word, it will be discovered how immoral any and all forms of socialist or collectivism is. And God forbid the United States elects the most anti-Israel and anti-capitalist Liberal for President in November 2008, Hussein Obama.
