“Israel as a gender equality global leader?” When women MKs are forbidden to take part in the Knesset choir which sang the national anthem during the British PM’s visit to Israel? I don’t think so somehow! Particularly not when the person who issued the Cherem is the woman Speaker of the Knesset, attempting to appease the anti-Zionist ultra-Orthodox factions.

Give me a call in a few years when you’ve learned what gender equality actually means…
