The Game is On: The U.S. Presidential Election…What’s Your Vote?
With the U.S. Presidential Election just a couple of days away, do ex-pats in Israel, Israelis and foreigners know which candidate will be better for Israel? For me the best candidate would be the one that said, “Israel we’re just going to stay out of this. No more three-ways, scrappy peace documents, or lame promises–if you vote me for President, I’ll stay the hell out of it and focus on my own country.”
But since that probably is not going to happen, just like a kosher Mexican restaurant popping up in Jerusalem’s city center or a real gym built on EmeK Refaim ain’t gonna happen, my group of kids went to the heart of Jerusalem to find out what other people, besides bitter me have to say.
Check out what these folks had to say about the better candidate for Israel: McCain or Obama?

What a great kid! He and Sarah Palin’s little girl Piper would get along.
Israelis have based on this a good grip on the implications of an Obama Administration for Israel and America.
Just like tearing down the wealthy, as Obama looks forward to do is bad for America so is eroding the strength of America’s allies as Obama would do.
For me I just cannot believe that America is now at the juncture of making a terrible decision to turn hard left toward a socialistic era.
Is it possible that the United States, the bastion of individual liberty is about to elect a man that parleys and carouses with the most vehemently anti-American people one can find in the United States?
A man whose ideological mentor was Saul Alinsky and that has at no stage spoken FOR the individual but has consistently attacked and decried capitalism?
If so, America is about to face a period that will be as destructive and wrenching as the Depression and has turned its back on the ethic of the Constitution – that Man is born free with unalienable rights to recognized and PROTECTED by government.
Obama is a facist. The hubris seen during this long campaign, from that whole camp, and that all the fringe elements of American society avidly and loudly shrieking his support while openly and sometimes coercively attacking those who oppose illustrates how bad he would be for America.
In New York City, McCain supporters dare not even show support because they are likely to be attacked publicly and even violently.
Obama has become a cult and is mightily dangerous because it is, using Man’s life as a standard of value, also evil.
David-Joe, you’re not mincing words. Theoretically, there is a real danger that all that may happen.
However, I think I am more optimistic about the American people. They are not as radical as this description, and I think they will put the radicals in their place if they try to do what is being described. I think that Obama and the Democrats will not be able to deliver, and the American public will see that. The United States has survived crises before, and I think it will survive Obama and the leftists–but we still have to remain engaged with current events and stop this drift.
