In the spirit of May 1st, here are a few shots from the big demonstration held in Tel Aviv by socialist youth movement HaNoar HaLomed. But first, a picture from the archives of Marxist movement Matzpen, and their May 1st march in 1979.

    2. I am hoping that Bibi can successfully get the tax rates down. It will be difficult in this ecconomy, but Israel needs to pull back from socialism if it is to survive.

    Just look at the fallen state of the kibbutz movement.

    We must remain competetive in a global market place.
