Hi David

How are you?

I agree 100% - the muffins in this country are nothing to write home about but they do make up for it with the rogallach.

Maybe one day we'll be expanding our product range to include muffins, especially blueberry!!

In the meantime we would love for you to try our cupcakes.

Have a good week

Hayley

Most American desserts are loaded with sugar and artificial flavors and colors, something that Israelis aren't all that fond of usually. Israelis are more likely to have real cream instead of frosting, for one. And they're also more likely to have weird and exciting flavors, hence the Halva and Crembo flavors that you saw in that place :)

Halva I want to add is [to me] pretty disgusting stuff - always avoided the dratted stuff when they would try and feed it to us on the kibbutz as kids.

German produced marzipan is food of the gods on the other hand. And when I moved to Europe before the USA I discovered the two places that are sweet, chocolate and cake heavens - the UK and Germany.
