I just saw last week Dan’s exibition in Tel Aviv. It was excellent. I especially loved his picture of an old tree. I recommend Dan’s picture warmly to everyone.

Dan has a unique way of using the camera as a paintbrush.

His work is like impressionist painting.

You often don’t know what the Phto is until you change the angle or distance of yur viewing point, but you are alws impressed by thebeauty and total effect.

התרגשתי מאוד כבר מהפעם הראשונה כשעמדתי מול הצילומים של דן.
השילוב בין האור לטבע יצר משהו מהפנט , היה קשה לי להוריד את המבט .
כל תמונה היא סיפור של יופי אלוהי .
אני עומדת מול התמונות ומגלה מצד אחד את העוצמה של הטבע
ומצד שני את השלווה והעומק של הדברים הקטנים בחיים.

בקרוב אני נכנסת לבית חדש אין לי ספק שאני ארכוש כמה תמונות של דן .

Dan’s phtographs thrill me! He ‘catches’ the moment. When you look at his photographs, you feel like you’re right there, in nature. In my mind’s eye the fleeting memory of nature’s beauty is caught in Dan’s pictures.

Absolutely go check out his exhibition and make space on your walls for your favorite photo.

הצילומים מיוחדים וגם לעין לא מקצועית נראה שהטכניקה המיוחדת של האמן יוצרת תוצאה מרהיבה ביופיב ומושכת להסתכל שוב ושוב.

התמונה הראשונה מלמעלה נקראת עין היקום
מיד כשראיתי אותה לראשונה התאהבתי בה ממש כך
וידעתי שארכוש אותה עבור הקליניקה שלי שנפתחת בימים אלו
ואכן רכשתי אותה והיא מדהימה ומוסיפה לאווירה וכל כך מתאימה לנושא
כל מי שרואה את התמונה בטוח שמדובר בציור ומאוד מופתע לגלות שזה צילום
הטכניקה של דן מדהימה ואין לי ספק שעשיתי את הבחירה הנכונה

Nature and photographing are my preferrencies too. So Dan’s works are very talking to me. One of them, representing flowers touching the ground, is in my living room. A window to nature mainly on dark days, a real healer.

My 2 cents: go and see the real thing – his works (not only on his site).

Last weekend we saw the movie Alice in wonderland. The movie is still fresh on our minds. Alice, in one scene of the movie, told Mad Hatter: “What I am experiencing is just a figment of my own imagination. Am I just imagining it, or is the speck of light next to the tree in Dan’s picture Alice’s light blue dress, just before she disappears down the rabbit hole?
Dan takes pictures of everyday scenes and turns them into interplay of illusion and reality for us. He sees the extraordinary in the ordinary. A walk through his pictures is like a walk through wonderland.
