Hebrew U. lip-dub
Okay, so it’s already 10/11/10, but yesterday, on 10/10/10, Hebrew University of Jerusalem kicked off the new academic year with a ‘lip-dub’ of the television show Glee’s cover of Queen’s ‘Somebody to Love.’
A ‘lip-dub’, for those who may not know, is a type of video that combines lip synching and audio dubbing to make a music video. In this particular lip-dub, dozens of Hebrew U. students participated in what was a unique, one-shot video.
Watch the whole thing, it’s funny, particularly watching non-English speakers synch and dub their way through Queen. And you get a sense of the campus. Sort of.
And for another campus’ take on 10/10/10 at 10 pm, check out this photo from Dani Machlis, campus photographer at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Good ways to mark the date.
