Israeli news anchor rocks into the sunset
June 7, 2011 - 11:46 AM by David
The country bid farewell in recent days to Miki Haimovich, the co-anchor of the nightly news for Channel 10 over the last two decades.
While maybe not on par with Walter Cronkite or our own Chaim Yavin, Haimovich has been a trusted and respected face for Israelis through some of its most trying times.
Her poise and humanity have endeared her not only to her viewers, but to her co-workers led by co-anchor Yaakov Eilon and the host of reporters she worked with, who surprised her at the end of her last broadcast with a very funny and very touching musical tribute.

I for one will really miss her on the nightly news and I laughed so hard watching that last night at the end of the broadcast. Thanks for the link:)
